One Celestion HF2000 Tweeter, mint all original from Bang & Olufsen Beovox 5700 speakers. Removed from speakers in working condition. 4 ohms.

I had a pair of Celestion Ditton 44 speakers which had tatty cabinets so Ive broken them down for parts. Now I tested the speakers before stripping them and found them to be in good working order. Upon testing the tweeters after removal, with a DMM, one of the tweeters (this one) measures high at 9.0 ohms. It is working but something is amiss somewhere, maybe it has been repaired? The back of the speakers have been painted in black. The crossovers have been re-capped, new better wires added. Internal damping foam washed. The cabinets were properly sealed inside with glue. All the metal driver surrounds painted. Original grill cloths have been refreshed and re-glued. Celestion HF2000 Tweeters 4 Ohm. Rebuilt with new domes. Fully tested and measured. Measure just like an HF2000 should. This is for a pair of tweeters. Normally the have a 2 part card front and mesh cover. Ive die cut a single card piece. No mesh covers. Also front terminals were missing so Ive taken the lead wires through grommets instead. Actually the terminals on the front cause some minor defraction issues so better this way. Lower price as these are not standard.

Celestion Ditton 66 MK2 1977 Vintage speakers in a near mint condition. This is MK2 version with veneered front baffle. I bought these speakers in Exeter from a relative of an elderly couple who passed away few years ago. The front grills were probably not taken off since the 70. Ive checked the internals and it seems that the speakers were untouched and all components and cabinets have stapms and date codes from the same batch - for example woofers (T1600) FK 28, tweeters (HF2000) FK 29 (F - June, K - 1977). There is also MH 23 JUN 1977 stamped inside the cabinet. Ive left the crossover unaltered. The cabinets have been cleaned and lightly sanded, then refinished with Danish Oil. Ive sealed the enclouseres inside with wood glue and internal damping foams were washed. All the metal driver surrounds have been painted. The tweeters carboards and small metal grills were painted and re-glued to the face of tweeters.Magnetic strips added in place of long gone foam on the front baffle.
