2x Ultra Rare Sony CDP-40 CD players (1x Silver, 1x Black), EU version, Made in Japan (1986-88) + 1x original Instruction Manual + 1x new CD tray belt (as seen in next to last picture)+ 1x original CD tray belt (loose, as seen in last picture) CURRENT conditions: Silver: Reads CDs fine, all functions working BUT tray mechanism stuck a the moment!Black: DOES NOT read CDs (all seems to be OK but track count remains 0) BUT everyting powers on and tray mechanism working fine! Details on my TESTING / REPAIRS done: Silver: Tray belt was changed to a new one from webspareparts.eu. Original belt removed is also included in listing (see last photo). This CD player was fully working after this little repair (turned on fine, tray opening nicely, reading CDs fast, all functions without problems) so I boxed it and put it aside. But now, a couple of weaks later when I took the pictures and turned it back on, CD tray was stuck. Got no time to disassemble it again so selling as not working.Black: Tray mechanism is working fine (also purchased the same belt type for it as for Silver item, but this was not used and is included with the listing in new, unopened condition as seen on photo). Powers on, display working fine, but track count remains 0 when a CD is inserted. Did not touch or tried to repair anything inside. Aesthetics and exterior conditions:Tried to capture everything on the photos uploaded. Silver has got some minor scratches and tiny plastic damages on the front, Black case is also ok, but rear panel is discolored as seen in pictures and whole equipment has got a bit old smell.
