DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1994 Bose Acoustic Wave Stereo Music System Series II with power cord. Large shelf stereo unit that weighs 15.7# (unpacked) and measures 18 long by 7 wide by 10 high. NO remote. Radio works fine. CD doesnt (see below). Physically the unit is in great condition with virtually no wear to the case or operating buttons. Very clean. Unfortunately, I cant get the CD player to operate. It powers on, shows the track number, but then shuts off. It does not spin. As such I have to have to offer for REPAIR OR PARTS ONLY. It doesnt appear that the unit has been tinkered with or damaged and I believe someone with Bose repair knowledge can get this working again. Note: this unit will be discretely marked and sensored in order to prove that this was, in fact, the same unit that was sold and shipped to you. This Bose Acoustic Wave Stereo Music System Model CD-2000 has been meticulously cleaned and tested for days. Every feature and every input and output works - the AUX and microphone input plus the line out on the back. All audio and electrical connections have been treated with Deoxit. For its age and the amount of enjoyment it has provided through the years, it is in good physical condition with case blemishes, scratches, and discoloration. In addition, there are a few matters you should know about before purchasing: The radio antenna has been replaced. The unit plays redbook factory CDs just fine. It will also play CDRs but I found that it is slow to read CDRs and can struggle to read some brands of CDRs. It will not play the CD layer on Hybrid SACDs. Although it does not inhibit the power cable from connecting and powering the unit, the bottom portion of the plastic plug port has broken off (see photo).

We Purchased this as a estate sale with other items it’s from a smoke-free pet free home. We do not have the box. We do not have the remote control – the unit does show age the volume knob is discolored. It might come clean, selling as is the radio works. The CD player starts up but stops right away. It might just need a good cleaning or it might need a new belt I’m not really mechanically inclined just selling it as is for parts.
