This auction is for a Cary CD 306/200 HDCD player and DAC. The unit is presently not working, although it does power up. I know that there is a plastic gear that operates the tray and that is stripped so the tray will not open or close properly. Im not clear if the internal microprocessor is operating as it should as the unit does not respond to button pushes on the front panel and is always trying to load a disk. This is the extent of what I know about its condition. Of course, when working properly, it is/was a fantastic CD player. These retailed for over $5000 new. It does have a remote that is also powering up. For what it is worth, I have another Cary CD player and when I point this remote (RC 306) at it, it functions exactly as it should. Please check my 100% positive feedback and expect competent packing and prompt shipping.
