For your consideration is my Carver TX-11 Stereo FM Tuner in Vg/Excellent used Condition. Cosmetically almost perfect with only a couple very slight marks on top/front edge-barely noticeable. Front lens and Faceplate very clean. Display is bright and fully functioning. It functions exactly as it should with no issues. I purchased this unit in January of 2023 from ClassicAudio after it had been fully serviced by Tim Whyte.(it is still showing in his list of equipment now as Sold) I have only had light use of it since purchase,(having used it with my restored Sansui AU-517 Integrated Amplifer-will be available soon in a separate listing) It has functioned beautifully for me with a full, rich sound Ive not heard in any other tuner-by anyone. I added the rare Carver rack ears to it which were on hand from another unit I once had-adds a nice look to it. It comes as pictured with the rack ears(removed for safe travel),the Original Owners manual, an RCA cable and an adapter for antenna hook-up in case you use a newer powered type antenna,and a copy of my receipt from ClassicAudio from when purchased with the test specs on it. Basically ready to go out of the box. I never had its original box or packing,but I have it nicely packaged for safe travel(check my feedback for track record on shipping!) Thank You for looking! Vintage Carver TX-11 digital tuner works great. It has the usual wear and tear of a grand old vintage tuner. It’s exactly as pictured and guaranteed or your money back Two small buttons missing but still works fine. You may be able to find parts on eBay just the cap is missing as pictured tuner and everything else works perfectly. You can still access the buttons. Up for auction is this vintage Carver M-500t 2 Channel Magnetic Power Amplifier, paired with the C1 Preamplifier and TX11 AM/FM Tuner, Quartz Synthesized - w/ an Asymmetrical Charge Coupled FM Detector. All have been tested, they work and sound great! Both meters work. All lights work except one light on the amp gauge. Cosmetically in very nice condition. The preamp is rack mountable. I would consider selling the components separately. The power amplifier was manufactured in the USA and features classic analog technology. It comes with 200 watts of power, 2 inputs, and 2 outputs with banana speaker jacks. All tested and works properly. Sounds great! Please check pictures for condition. Carver TX-11a tuner in excellent condition. The TX-11a is an updated version of the TX-11 and includes AM, which the TX-11 does not have. Front of face and front panel are pristine. Top of face has 1 small scratch and top panel has small scratches as shown in photos. Side panels are pristine. Everything works as designed. Toshiba TC9147BP Digital Tuning IC and 2 Trim Capacitors for repairing CARVER MXR-130, MXR-150, MXR-900, MXR-2000, THE RECEIVER, TX-2, TX-11 and many other digital tuners and receivers from the 1980s. A bad TC9147BP or Trim Capacitor cause many tuner-related and display problems in receivers, including incorrect displays, non-functional controls and totally non-functioning tuning capability. Tuner problems are generally caused by bad TC9147BP ICs or Trim Capacitors. Changing both parts is over 90% effective in correcting these problems. Since both the original TC9147BP IC and Trim Cap are failure-prone, we recommend changing both once youve gone to the effort to open up your receiver. The Trim Cap is an identical match to the original part, and fits into the board perfectly with no modification. The IC and Trim Cap are brand new and will be shipped in anti-static packaging.
