EXCELLENT CONDITION Vintage CARVER MODEL M-500 - 2 CHANNEL MAGNETIC FIELD POWER AMPLIFIER This has the CARVER MKII Series updrade: -Replaced all electrol capacitors. -Replaced binding posts. -Replaced meter lamps with LEDs.and driver -Installed mkil mod which INCREASES OUTPUT to 400W PER CHANNEL into 8 ohms, increased rail voltage to 90V, idle bias set to 3.5mV. -All rectifiers, commutation transistors and drivers, amp stage drivers and output devices were replaced with higher voltage/power type. From my personal collection and favorite amp, downsizing everything for future move. Had this powering a pair of Klipsch CF4s and sounded FANTASTIC!
