Cambridge Audio Creek MM Phono Preamp internal module fits A series & Azur amps. This is the original internal moving magnet phono preamp module designed by Mike Creek for the first Cambridge Audio A1 model amplifier .It also fits subsequent models in the Cambridge A series: All the A1 mk2 and mk3 amps, the A2, A100, A4, A5 -, A500 and the C500 preamp separates. It can also be fitted to the Azur 540A and 640A amps, BUT ONLY THE FIRST version, not the V2 versions of the Azur, which had extra room networking circuits.All these amps were originally sold without a phono preamp, as at the time the audio world had abandoned record players in favour of CDs. Now, of course, vinyl is coming back in a big way and if you have a Cambridge A amp (which still hold their own well today) and you want to play records, then this is the way forward. No external boxes with annoying trailing wires and power supplies, you just remove the amp lid, plug the board into a pre-arranged spot of the main board of the amp and cut two small wire links to turn the AUX/PHONO input sockets into a dedicated turntable input. Cambridge Audio Azur 840A Class XD Integrated Amplifier. Fantatsic sounding amplifier and you will be hard pressed to find any marks on this. Works flawlessley and is a beast of an amp in terms of actual weight as well as in terms of sound. Massive 120w per channel. Class XD amp. Superb sound. There is also a brand new Cambridge Audio remote control included. This is a very heavy item so postage will be a little on the high side but I will cap it at 20 and I will pay any difference. Collection also available. This is a beast of a machine and I have recently owned the cx80 and cx61 and in my opinion this is a far better amp just without the digital inputs and Bluetooth. Far more power, control and tonal sound quality. This is the version 2 unit aswell. Class XD amplification is amazing. Relisted as last buyer cancelled the order.

The StreamMagic android app works extremely well with this. Ive factory reset ready for your use. Id prefer collection so I know the unit wont get damaged.
