There are 5 bays on the chassis but only three power amp modulus are present. According to the date code in the back, its made in 2007. Rated output power is: 3 x 120 watts into 8 ohms3 x 200 watts into 4 ohms I tested in my system and confirmed all three channels worked great; producing wonderful, full, clean music. As shown in pictures, there are wear, scratches, blemishes, etc. So, its not for beauty contest. Comes with power cord only; no manual, box, or any other accessories. The amp is quite heavy. Biete hier einen 10 Jahre alten Bryston BHA-1 an. Garantie gilt noch für weitere 10 Jahre. OVP ist leider nicht mehr vorhanden. Rechnung lege ich bei sowie die anderen Handbücher und gemessenen Frequenzkennlinien. Nun zum optischen: minimale Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden, jedoch nichts gravierendes. Funktionalität ist perfekt. Alles läuft ohne Probleme, bis auf das bekannte Problem mit dem Lautstärkeregler, der erst nach der 15 Uhr Stellung wieder Saft drauf gibt (kann man von der Bryston Garantie ändern lassen falls es einen stört). Dies ist kein Defekt, sondern aufgrund der Zusammensetzung und Verschaltung der Bauteile des Herstellers entstanden. Ich bevorzuge Sicher bezahlen als Zahlungsmethode. Their amplifiers were built by the renowned Bryston in Ontario Canada and Sonics added their front & rear panels along with input circuitry. Over the years these amps have found their way into the consumer/used market and audiophiles jump at the opportunity to own one of these legendary amplifiers. The Sonics 600X is almost identical to a Bryston 4B - they were basically rebadged with Sonics front/back plates with slightly modified circuitry for their use with IMAX systems. The Sonics 600X is a three channel power amplifier with VHF/HF/LF crossover. It is rated at 120 watts/channel RMS @ 8 Ohms and 200 watts/channel RMS @ 4 ohm. The two main channels can be bridged for 400w mono output @ 8 ohm. As a triple-mono amp, all three channels are in one chassis, and each channel has their own toroidal power transformer and power supply capacitors. The Plitron tranformers were custom-made for Bryston (82 VCT @ 2.75A, or 225 watts). The power caps for each channel consist of two 10,000µ, 63V capacitors. The rail is ± 55 V and each channel has 30.5 Joules of power supply energy storage. The back panel has a detachable grounded (three-prong) power receptacle, (1) XLR female input, XLR male looping output for LF/subwoofer, and (4) post/banana jacks for +/- on each of the two main channels. ! Unit come with new 6x30mm 150V fast-blow fuses: The 800X is set up as a monoblock amp, (two mono channels within set up in push-pull configuration) and there are no switches to change from series or parallel. Inside are two identical power amplifiers set for bridge operation for 500 watts into 8 ohms or 800 watts into 4 ohms. Conversion to 2-channel stereo operation is possible by disabling the input module internally.
