This is a combination package of the Bryston BHA-1 Headphone Amplifier & Bryston BDA-1 DAC Combo Package - They are very rare and these are very powerful amplifier and a high quality DAC. Bryson is one of the oldest amplifier manufacturers still in business today and they make some of the highest quality Equipment made. The company is so confident in their equipment that they currently offer 20 year warranties on their products. They also service any of their equipment. No matter the age or the condition they will service their equipment and they have restoration services available as well to replace parts in your components. They are a truly one of the kind high quality High Fidelity company that will never leave you high and dry like some companies. Hello. I’ve been using this amplifier in my system for about 6 months, now. I’ve really enjoyed its resolution, speed and control. The bass is very well controlled and deep. The midrange is palpable and the highs, airy and detailed. It does an excellent job of passing the audio signal without adding its own color. I can’t fault it for anything. It comes in the original box with packing, the power cord and a manual. Still has 8 years of warranty left. This is the “Pro“ model that has the rack ears and variable input gain adjustments for level matching. This is helpful for theater, installations, and cost a bit more. The condition is excellent with a few very minor signs of use. It has always operated perfectly with no issues. It’s rated at 150 WPC into 8 Ohms and can go mono. Bryston 0.4B Linestage Preamplifier Serviced For your consideration, we have a sweet sounding Bryston 0.4B Linestage Preamp. We serviced the unit, and it is in now in perfect working order. When we took in the preamp, there was an issue with a noisy relay. We replaced the relay, as well as the faulty caps in the power supply that caused the issue with the relay. All switches and pots were cleaned, and then treated with the appropriate Deoxit. All RCA terminals were cleaned, and then treated with Deoxit Gold G100L solution. This is an extremely clean sounding preamp, and we enjoyed it immensely in our house system. The build quality, as we find in all Bryston gear is top notch. Physically the preamp is in very good condition and presents itself extremely well. The faceplate, sides and back are in very good condition, and the top has some light scuffs and blemishes. This unit has the rackmount faceplate, and it appears to never have been mounted in a rack, as the holes on the ears of the faceplate are clean. We dont have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit. Finally, water activated, fiber reinforced tape is used on all seams. Bryston 0.4B Linestage Preamplifier Serviced For your consideration, we have a sweet sounding Bryston 0.4B Linestage Preamp. This preamp has really wonderful sounding 2channel bypass mode that employs the same circuitry as the Bryston stand alone preamps. A nice way to save money on great sound. The remote is amazing as well! The unit was returned to Vermont in 2020 for service, replacing the display, and the toggle power switch. They made sure it was back in new condition for the next 20 years. I have not used the other surround modes on the unit, but you can find the specs and manual online.
