Their amplifiers were built by the renowned Bryston in Ontario Canada and Sonics added their front & rear panels along with input circuitry. Over the years these amps have found their way into the consumer/used market and audiophiles jump at the opportunity to own one of these legendary amplifiers. The Sonics 400X is almost identical to a Bryston 3B - they were basically rebadged with Sonics front/back plates with slightly modified circuitry for their use with IMAX systems. Unit come with new 6x30mm 150V fast-blow fuses: UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING:While we cannot guarantee any amp performs 100% as it did when it left Brystons manufacturing facility, each unit has been tested for power handling, clipping, and clean audio on each channel.
