This is a Bryston B135SST2 Integrated Amplifier. This model does not feature the D/A converter or the moving magnetic phono cartridge. There are some scratches throughout the chassis and faceplate. Heres a Bryston 9B SST2 5-channel power amplifier. This unit comes with all original packaging, its original power lead. This unit has had one owner from new, bought in 2012. Within Brystons spectacular 20-year warranty (which is transferable with the original invoice) this unit has just been in for service and repair (late August) for an audible hum... this was tracked down to the soft-start board which was replaced under warranty and is now also a later version of the board designed to overcome the problem associated with the earlier boards. The date code for this unit is 2012, meaning the warranty will be valid until 2032! A copy of the original purchase receipt will be included. This unit has had one owner from new. Condition report: This amplifier is in excellent condition and is effectively unmarked, except for one small scratch to the bottom edge of the front panel, as highlighted in one picture. otherwise its stunning. In use: We have powered and test this amplifier and, pretty obviously having just returned from service, the unit is working perfectly. Summary: A highly regarded and hugely capable 5-channel power amplifier, with the security of a service within the last month and manufacturer warranty to 2032! This is a very heavy unit (almost 30kg) so collection is preferred, but courier delivery is possible. The small print...The photographs show the actual item being sold. I use a studio to show the items in as much detail as possible. I must stress, that I have not serviced this item, just described its current cosmetic and operational condition as honestly as I can. That amp will be 30W per channel but use 200W at idle. I will use it over winter where it will double as a space heater. Class AB like this Bryston are the way to go for most setups. I am selling this to finance my Class A amplifier. This amp sounds awesome, better than any live music venue uses. Im pretty sure anyway, Ive gone to a few. Although the amp in theory still has 8+ years on Brystons famous 20 year warranty, it is moot because I dont have the original receipt. I have for sale a Bryston B135 SST2 integrated amplifier. It functions and sounds wonderful, but as you can see, it has a number of cosmetic issues. There are scratches on the front face, some of the white labeling has rubbed off, and there is a bend in the top panel immediately above and below the left heat sink. I have labored to document the cosmetic issues full in the photos above. No power cable or remote control is included, but the original manual is.
