This is a DIRECTSTREAM DAC that has been upgraded from a PWD MK2 using factory provided goods. See picture #2, the touchscreen graphic proves it's full DirectStream. It has a Network Bridge I (NOT Network Bridge II). Works and sounds great. Unreal DAC with streaming bridge for a great price. This is a DirectStream DAC which has been upgraded from an original PerfectWave DAC MK2. It has a Network Bridge 1. Back panel looks quite nice, with slight scratches in the silk art at the I2S-1 input digital input and slight blemishes at left and right RCA outputs. Corners on the back panel are tight and neat. Silver powder coat looks very nice. Top panel is very very nice. Slight scratches at front right and front left corners. Slight scratch at back left corner. Slight blemishes at back right corner. Very minor scratches along the top of the unit. Sides look almost perfect. Front panel is very handsome with slight vertical blemishes in the middle and tiny blemishes on the front right corner powder coat. ***There is a decent ding on the piano key top at the front right corner (see pictures). It's about 1cm long. *** Top panel is secure. Touchscreen is secure. PS Audio silk art and logo button are quite perfect. Corners are tight and very stable. Absolutely a 9 out of 10. Hello my fellow afflicted audio enthusiasts. We are moving homes and I am losing my dedicated listening room. As a result, Im downsizing the gear in my main rig. I have four excellent PS Audio components for sale in separate auctions (Direct Stream DAC with streaming Bridge, BHK Pre-Amp, Powerplant 12 (sine wave regenerator), and a PerfectWave AC12 Power Cable. I am also selling these on other forums, so I could end the auctions early if they sell elsewhere. This listing is for the PerfectWave Direct Steam DAC with the PerfectWave Bridge II ethernet port. . Purchased in August 2020 directly from PS Audio. The remote pictured is for the BHK preamp. The DAC includes the original still unused and boxed remote. The pre-amp remote controlled both, so the DAC remote remains new. Small note, I never used the SD card for the album art on the touchscreen and have no idea where it might be. Youll have to download the free software from PS Audio and install your own SD card if you want this feature active. I use Roon, so I see a much better presentation on the tablet I use. Updated to the lasted FPGA firmware. Just read the reviews. This is a great DAC with a huge soundstage. IMO, a much more enjoyable listen that your AKM and ESS DACs. While I used this with the BHK preamp, it does have its own volume control and you can also control via Roon for example. Grab a bargain. Will ship double boxed in the original packaging.
