Refurbished B&W speakers from the Mid-90s, with new ferrofluid in the tweeters, and upgraded crossover capacitors. I dont have the grilles for them. The CDM1 (Compact Domestic Monitor) was introduced in 1995, priced at £600 a pair and was voted Loudspeaker of the year by European journalists, given a 5 star review by What Hifi? magazine, and made it into What Hifis more recent 17 best B&W products of all time list (viewable online). With age B&W tweeters from this period suffer from dried out ferrofluid which dulls their output. I have refurbished the original tweeters, removing the old dried out fluid, and have replaced it with fresh fluid. I have also upgraded the capacitors in the crossover from electrolytic to polypropylene film types. This lets through so much more detail and they now sound super crisp. They sound balanced and detailed, like plenty of power and love to go loud. The cabinets are in very good condition, with a few minor imperfection that have been touched up. They are very good overall. Specifications: two-way, reflex-loaded, stand-mounted loudspeaker. Drive-units: 0.75 inch (18mm) metal-dome tweeter, 6.5 inch (165mm) Kevlar-cone woofer. Crossover frequency: 3kHz. Frequency response: 64Hz-20kHz ±2dB. Sensitivity: 88dB/W/m (2.83V). Nominal impedance: 8 ohms. Amplifier requirements: 30W minimum. There are a few marks but nothing obvious other than the blue tack marks on the bases shown in the photographs. Both tweeters are creased but work fine. See photos They come with grilles
