I recall my brother mentioning he liked the high-mids better than his original 801s. Bass-wise, it was more than adequate. They seem to roll off at 80Hz. However, being rear firing, if you move the speakers around, the bass will improve somewhat. I have mine only a foot away from the way and, iirc, they sounded better about 2 feet away.

Bowers & Wilkins CM9 S1 Gloss Black Floor Standing Speakers. Perfect working order. Includes original floor stands with the correct fittings. The cabinets themselves are in nice presentable condition with only very minor signs of use. Both tweeters are damaged, and one of the mid-range drivers has a blemish. The sounds output still sounds perfect and detailed as you would expect. The tweeters can be easily replaced and purchased directly from Bowers and WIlkins spare parts. House move forces sale. These speakers are wonderful and come complete with the stands, cables and floor pins. The only minor thing is that two sides of one of the speakers is slightly lighter than the other. This is due to being closer to a window and daylight. I don’t want to post but you can organise a courier to pick up at your risk. I have a video available of them bring used. The mesh covers are in perfect condition. No scratches or chips. Any questions .. please ask.

The driver has a very fine split in the repair. This has been repaired using a special silicone. It sounds perfect and no can no longer hear any vibration Please see pictures for the repair. Obviously no longer cosmetically perfect but as you see from my picture of it panned out you dont see it unless you go looking. If you just need a driver for a CM5 and not bothered about A1 perfect cosmetic then then this is all good. I have put it in the parts/not working just because it has had a repair. Worth saying as you do get some people on here.... It is the bass driver part LF1063. You do not get the speaker cabinet/tweeter

This piece goes on the underside of the SCM 8 speaker. There is a very slight white mark as shown in photo that could probably be easily covered. There are three small pinholes that you need to look hard to see. Overall it’s a nice clean replacement.

This is quite hard to find B&W subwoofer with large 12” driver. It provides huge difference compared to small woofers. The subwoofer is fully working. The subwoofer was originally Cherry Brown in color, but it has been covered with a white film, so now it appears white. The film application was not done professionally, so there are noticeable flaws when you examine it closely. It comes with no grille. Please ask if you want to see anything in more details. I will try to make more close-up photos upon request. For dimensions and detailed specifications please inspect the last photo which is a screenshot from the manual. The subwoofer comes from smoke/pet free home. It will be packed very carefully using multilayer cardboard for safe travel to anywhere in the world.

The listing is for a pair of matching genuine B&W stands. Please note they are in quite poor condition. They have many scuffs and also missing pretty much all the screws. The remaining screws are rusted and seized. I’m not 100% sure, but I think they were removed from DM7 MKII speakers, or from DM2 MKII speakers. Anyways the distance between the screw holes centres is 12cm. Please measure your speaker’s holes at the bottoms. The stands are 19.5cm tall. I’m sure you can use them with any speakers if you happy to drill the holes in the bottoms of your speakers. The stands are designed to hold some heavy speakers steady. Please inspect the photos.
