Woofer faces downward so hard surface floor or carpet type will effect how much bass is absorbed, this is a well known and well tested design that gives flexibility. Has heavy duty feet to hold woofer off the floor. The cabinet is strong and secure with internal bracing and no rattles or loose joints. The speaker cone and surround are solid and flexible with no deterioration. Input is by a RCA LFE input with option to bypass or use the internal crossover control. Also has full range gold plated binding post speaker wire inputs. Adjustable low-pass filter removes sounds over 75hz to 150hz. Volume on front. Back panel has Power button, pilot light, crossover knob, phase switch, fuse, power and all inputs. The bass reproduction is excellent and accurate with strong convincing bass down to 38 hertz.
