It might just need a good cleaning or it might need a new belt I’m not really mechanically inclined just selling it as is for parts. I asked if they had any other BOSE items, and the employee said the person who bought the 2 units left both of the remote controls. I assume it works, but may need a new battery? Battery Bay has a battery inside (not sure if dead or not) no corrosion detected. There is a hairline surface scratch across the tune and play buttons area. It doesnt go into the writing. I didnt see it until the photo lights were on it. Otherwise, it looks to be in decent or better condition. I see no deep scratches, no cracks, no chips, or gouges. Bose Wave Radio AWR1B2 Description No remote when I purchased it. Borrowed one from a friend and radio did not work. Could not choose AM or FM. Purchased a remote and radio still did not play. It was still plugged in about an hour later with clock and alarm possibly set. At some point it came on while I was in another room. It worked and responded to the remote. I unplugged it and plugged it back in a couple of hours later and it worked and sounded good. I plugged it in again the next day and could not pick AM or FM. I have not got it to work again.
