Bose music system no remote does skip so needs work

BOSE WAVE AWRCC2 Beige Music System W/ Multi CD Changer PARTS Only Purchased by my parents Dec 2006, it was a factory renewed model straight from Bose...tried to use it this year to play CDs for my mom but the bummer was that I get nothing when I plug it in. The Changer seems to cycle through a start-up process, but without the receiver working, I could not test it. There are 2 remotes, the one appears to need a new battery because each work when I switch the batteries in the 2 of them. I hope its a simple fix! The cabinets all look pretty good, just some minor wear that would seem typical. No cracks or anything. It is heavy, over 13 lbs.

Good condition with some wear from use and age. Radio plays fine good sound quality display is bright and clear. The CD player skips but after a while when the unit heats up it plays fine. I saw a video on You Tube showing replacing a few capacitors on the inside fixes the isuue but the repair is way above my skill set. Being offered AS-IS with issue as stated.

CD player turns on and music plays for around a minute and then doesnt play anymorr anymore. I just kept on hearing what sounded like spinning noises coming from cd area and no music playing.
