Set of VI Series 901 direct reflecting speakers that I purchased brand new in 2008-9? Series IV Active Equalizer that works great and is compatible. ( Its what I used & they sounded fab)The stands are vintage 1970s purchased separately from a local estate sale and they came w/ some pitting on bottom of one stand but they are structurally sound. Ive had these unused in a guest bedroom for 4 years so feel free to test them prior to purchase. Bose dealt with the past endemic surround rot in making the V series so that shouldnt be an issue. Here is a nice condition pair of Bose 901 Speakers. All the drivers work well and are all original to the speakers. They come with the Tulip Stands and the Equalizer which also works. These speakers sound good with tube or solid state equipment. They sound better with tubes or SET or OTL tube amps. They are still Boses top of the line speakers without many changes over the years. They are good with any kind of music from classical to jazz to rock and roll. These are available for local pick up from Mount Prospect, IL They are too bulky and heavy and expensive to ship.
