Fully tested and working BOSE Model PM-1 Portable CD Anti-skip Player. I was a skeptic until I listened to the sound this puts out into even cheap headphones: outstanding. The rubber-coated buttons have been fully cleaned so YOU wont have to deal with sticky buttons like I did. Nice styling with a solid feel. I hate to let this one go from my collection, but I am willing to let a Bose fan or someone who appreciates quality add it to their collection. See photographs for minor scratches to unit consistent with use and age. Item does not include batteries or the compact disk used to display its functionality in the photographs.

PLEASE READ THIS FIRSTThis Bose PM-1 portable disc player appears to work great, outside of the LCD screen. It does not show anything. I do not see any physical damage to it like cracks or chips, it appears maybe the circuit/electronic portion of it has an issue. But everything else like playing the music CD, volume, play/pause, skipping to different songs all work as they should. Please read the full description below before purchasing this item. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a Bose handheld CD disc player, model PM-1. Main color is black and it was made in China. It has features such as Ant-Skip and can play music CDs. It takes 2 double A batteries to power it. I installed 2 new AA batteries (Not included in this listing) and verified there was no rust or corrosion in the battery compartment. Once installed, I was able to pop in a music CD and plugged in my personal headphones (Not included in this listing) and verified this Bose CD player works. It plays music with no issues. I tried multiple music CDs and they all worked as they should. The volume controls work, the play and pause button worked, I could skip to different songs on the CD. Everything appears to work as it should, except the LCD screen. It does not display at all. Doing research, it appears the LCD board in side the CD player may need to be replaced? I am no expert, so because of this issue I am selling this Bose PM1 CD player as is, for parts or repair, not working. No returns and no refunds. This CD player had been used before and it was in storage for a good amount of time, so there is wear and tear. This includes scratches and markings. There is also some discoloration on the black part on some areas. But it looks like the black is just lighter, like it dried out in those areas. I cannot explain it any further, but you can look at the photos to see what I mean. I also do not see any cracks or damage to the LCD screen, just looks like the electronic portion of it has the issue.
