Bose 101 produces more crispy, clear, and louder sounds compared to other due to its 4 ohm impedance. It is designed for patios evening music enjoyment, definitely not for a party as it carries only up to 60w RMS with simply not enough low frequency or bass. They produce better sounds than most others If you need some extra bass, just add a sub woofer. The material design is durable for the outside use regardless any weather condition. This used speaker set was tested and still sounds as Bose intended. The waterproof casing looks a little dingy from age which has not affected its long-established standard of sound quality. The test was conducted using an amplifier and AM/FM receiver.
