Great 5:1 system, we have a 5 x 5 metre room, the surround sound from this system makes the room rumble with a great movie experience. The system is a control unit which is also the sub woofer, 2 front speakers, a centre speaker and 2 rear speakers. Does not require mains connection. It is supplied with 4 stands, these hold the 2 front and 2 rear speakers. The stands have cable channels built in so cabling becomes invisible. Due to sunlight, some of the speakers have a faded red line around the speaker covers, though in my opinion, not too much of an issue.(Please see the last photo to get an idea of the difference). It should also be noted that the plastic grommets in the stands have become brittle and cracked. These can either be glued back together or just replaced depending on whether you are actually going to use the stands. Leads to be supplied are the input leads (from your AV receiver to the sub woofer). The output leads are shortened as the main lengths are still buried behind our skirting board. The purchaser can either buy new output leads branded as Bose, or make their own using RCA connectors (a pack of 4 will be supplied) and additional speaker cable (not supplied) which would be quite a cheap solution. With the above exceptions, this system is in fantastic condition throughout. For the purposes of clarity and for those that do not know, this system requires you to have an AV receiver capable of outputting a 5:1 audio signal, it does not have amplification of its own. If you have a receiver, great; if not, they are available to purchase at quite reasonable prices. We have loved having this system, watched and enjoyed many Blu Rays and more recently TV dramas recorded with a 5:1 sound track. Redecoration has led us to change the system. This is too bulky and heavy to contemplate arranging a courier so collection is an absolute must.

Used Bose Acoustimass 10 Series 3 home theatre system. This all works and includes all the parts. The main unit, the speakers, speaker brackets and cables.There is a bit a yellowing on the main unit due to age, see photos.I will tape up the box to make it good and strong for transportation. This is a heavy system. Collection not possible.
