Im offering a nice Vintage pair of BOSE 901, Series II, Direct Reflecting Speakers, with Their Original 901 Active Equalizer and Optional Tulip Floor Stands. The Original Instructions went missing, but a copy has been Down Loaded from the Bose Website. These have served me well for many years, and now its time to pass them on, for someone else to enjoy. They have been tested prior to this listing, and function as they should. They Look and Sound Excellent! Many years ago, a Front Driver, in one of the Speakers failed, and a replacement was sent to me by the Bose Corporation. The Cabinets are in Solid Condition, but are showing a few minor marks and scratches. The original Fabric on the Grills have a few pulls, wear marks, and slight stains. Not very noticeable from across the room, but can easily be replaced with newer material. The Floor Stands are also in Excellent Condition, but do have a few scuff marks on the painted surfaces. The Active Equalizer is in solid condition, and functions as it should. Its only issue is, that the Vinyl Veneer is lifting a little at some of the edges. This Wonderful 901 Series II Speaker System, is being offered AS IS and WITHOUT WARRANTY! It will make a fine addition to any Vintage Audio Collection or Display. This is a two piece grille set (front and back) for a single 901 Series IV speaker. Please look closely at the color prior to purchase! The grilles are in great condition, however the previous owner used caulk on the front piece, instead of re-stapling. It shouldnt really be an issue, as it does not show. If so, most of it could probably be peeled off with a bit of force. The outside of the grilles are in excellent condition with Bose badge as shown. Also the one black ring on the left does not like to stay in place and may need some adhesive if buyer chooses to do so. Thank you for considering our Bose 901 Series II Original full range driver taken from a vintage Bose 901 Series II speaker. The entire working speakers were purchased at an Estate Sale in Florida several years ago and parted out, with speaker cabinets, tulip stands, and equalizer having been previously sold. For some reason (I honestly dont remember why), I put the drivers in storage, and then lost track of them until recently. So here they are for individual sale at a very low price. Bose 901 Series VI Equalizer EQ 120V...it is nice working condition some light scratches from normal use

One owner, all original, vintage pair of Bose 901 Series II speakers with walnut covers, Bose equalizer, original RCA patch cords (see last pic) for the EQ, manual for the speakers, manual for the equalizer and also 2 different original sales ads for the 901s. Fully tested and working. Each of the 18 speakers in both pair output sound, the equalizer works as it should, including the red light. We thought they had a nice warm sound to them when playing classic rock from the 60s and 70s. Even the 80s and 90s sounded nice as well. We had them up about the height of a kitchen table and spread apart. It will all depend on your listening room and where they are placed and how high and of course your music type and how loud you play them. What we noticed as bad: Everything we noticed is cosmetic.Some peeling on the edges in the sides, upper and lower (see pics near the end)One speaker has deeper scratches on the top (both tops are pictured)Some sun fading on the back cloth of one of the speakers (see pic 8)One of the walnut covers in the front on the smaller side is a little loose. We found from reading it is held on by double sided tape. Cleaned and partially tested. I was able to power on the unit just fine with no issue. I do not have speakers to do the proper hookups but all the buttons seem to be working fine. I have no reason to suspect this has any issues other that what is visible cosmetically. That said, given that this is not fully tested, I highly advise that this be treated as Damaged/For Parts to avoid any disappointment in the event something is wrong with it. Being Sold AS-IS given the lack of full testing. No refunds will be given.
