This is perhaps for that more particular individual, its about as nice as youll find, perfect for the original series and series II, and it has been rebuilt as seen by DHS speaker with audio upgrade, please see the pics as they tell the story, so many upgraded capacitors, sonicap etc … far better than the original, which by the way lasted over 40 years before being serviced, so this is now better than ever for decades to come! Im downsizing so I cant keep it all. Pics show new / better capacitors as you can see, some additional parts in the amp section to enhance the curve to where it belongs, shielding etc ... this is better than when it was new in terms of performance because they used better parts at DHS and it sounds absolutely fantastic). Cabinet is nice w/ minimal handling evidence - it is more of a traditional walnut color - the pics w/ flash color it some. This is a nice one.Very careful packing for safe delivery!

Bose 901 Active Equalizer Series II. Tape Recorder And Amplifier Connections. It appears to have some sort of water damage, noticed some oxidation on the terminals. The wood is also not in the best of shape. Corners and edges are damaged and missing. A good project for somebody. The switches and knob operate fine. Plugged it in and the red light flickers. A tear down with a good cleaning might have this baby running like a top. Selling as is. Parts or project to restore. Have a look at the photos for general overall condition. This Bose 901 Active Equalizer has been tested and is in good working condition. The equalizer was tested with Bose 901 Series II speakers. Those speakers are also for sale, so check out my store if you are interested.

This unit is working, all switches etc... both channels nice and clean, perfect for series I or II, I just listened to an hour of Frank Sinatra at The Sands and it sounded just great. I am a 901 owner myself (Series I and Series VI ver 2) and ran it on my own system. I got it as a back up and if I were to keep it I would have the caps redone just because of the age, but it is working right now. I opened it up and photographed the inside for anyone who would wish to be able to see that. This is listed as parts / not working because I cannot guarantee it and it is sold as is. These are not so often seen. I can tell you those Deer Creek replacements simply don't cut it so if you have 901's this is what you need to make them sing. DHS speaker on ebay services these and for a small amount they end up as good as new if not better. Cabinet w/ some dings discolorations and a little veneer peeled off in a few spots - not too much but just so you know
