This unit is working, contacts cleaned, all switches etc... both channels nice and clean, perfect for series I or II, I just listened to an hour plus of Frank Sinatra Live, The Beatles White Album and more, and it sounded just great. I am a 901 owner myself (Series I and Series VI ver 2) and ran it on my own system. I got it as a back up and if I were to keep it I would have the caps redone just because of the age, but it is working right now. This is listed as parts / not working because I cannot guarantee it and it is sold as is. These are not so often seen. If you have 901s this is what you need to make them sing. Bose 901 Series II Direct/Reflecting Pair Of Speakers. Made 1973-1976 In walnut. Were working prior to storage one of the drivers in one of the speakers needs reconnecting. Please read - the plug is a temporary replace - I did that to be able to confirm function. It will need a plug if you hate my ugly replace job which was again just done to verify operational status.
