These speakers feature two 7.5 woofers and four 2.75 tweeters along with a cross-over network that Bose has perfected over the last 5 decades. The enclosure measures 30 high, 13 deep and 12.25 wide. They provide a rich yet accurate of the sound as only Bose can do it. They are packed in the original factory boxes and will be shipped in two boxes.On Jun-22-23 at 04:18:56 PDT, seller added the following information: These Bose speakers have an 8 ohm impedance and are rated for 200 watts each for a very powerful sound that will fill a large living room.   They will also produce a rich sound with smaller, less powerful amplifiers which is what I used to test these for integrity.   They will be shipped in two from the factory boxes with foam packing cores.

This listing is for a single (1) Bose 601 Series I 8 woofer, part# 112041. This woofer was removed from a 601 speaker I have parted out.Woofer has had a new, USA made foam surround installed & a new cloth dust cap. The cone was stained & has been painted with a light coat of black paint (as well as the sealing gasket). Woofer has been tested with music, a 30Hz test tone & a multi meter. It is in very good working condition for its age. Cone does have a crease, which is on the front only. Impedance is 16 ohms & DCR = 11.6.

Bose 601 Series III Excellent Condition 1986. Yes, those. Made in 1986. I purchased these on the bay in approximately 2005, from the original owner. The surrounds, afaik, are the original foam, and showing no signs of rot / cracking. I cleaned / conditioned the veneer about 3 years ago. All things considered, its difficult to find a pair of 601s right now, that look this good. They are almost 40 years old, so they have some blemishes typical of a vintage speaker. However, they are very few, all things considered. They have always sat in my living room, until about a year ago. I own instruments, so they have always lived in a humidity controlled environment. I do not have the boxes. They sound fantastic, enormous. Everything is in perfect working order, all tweeters and woofers, no punched in caps, etc. Everything is original including the grille material. I always look around auctions for these, and I must say, this is one of the better pairs of 601s out there. Check out the pics! Local pickup only.
