This is a pair of Bose 601 Series III Main / Stereo Speakers The woofers have been replaced with quality woofers from a company called Misco, who have made speakers in Minneapolis since 1949. I pulled one of the woofers and the model number is KC8W-6A and it is dated 11/24/21. They do not sell this model anymore, but a similar model sells for $75 per woofer. After doing some research, it appears that these may be better quality than the original Bose woofers. They sound awesome. The speakers have been tested and sound great. When listening to music, the speakers disappear and you are enveloped in sound that is warm, crisp and deep. If you are looking at these, then you are probably already familiar with them. One small tear at the seam on one side. Tear is smaller than a dime. Minor veneer lift on top edge corner. They not sound amazing!! One cannot go wrong with Bose and this vintage look is just awesome!! I believe that someone painted and had some pain on hands and got a little on speaker side. Also, I took off speakers so you can clearly see year of them. Thanks
