Holy mooooolly!!!! These are a pair of Bose Direct Reflecting Speakers that are even noted as being “Left” and “Right” on the manufacturer’s plate on the back! Serial numbers 127807 & 127313. They have some dust on them as they were installed in a former pro basketball player’s home in Arizona for years. They hung from the factory eye rings since gas was a dollar a gallon I think. No humidity warping the cabinets!!!! Never fell from the ceiling ????…. The family gave them to me as they had no need for “wired” speakers. The cabinets are in great condition and the speaker screens are too ( or whatever you call them) **The only minor issue is the thin plastic trim piece on the left one that has the BOSE symbol on it. During my car ride back to Illinois it detached from its mounts. I am not going to play games and glue it or epoxy it back and lie and say it’s perfect. I’ll let you do that and it will take 20 seconds to reattach it. I play no games and don’t bull$hit on my stuff????????????????????????????????… The speaker material seem to be in the same awesome condition as well. I HAVE NOT TESTED them and don’t have anything to hook them up to. They don’t make this $hit like they used to and for audiophiles these are pretty sweet. Please see the pics and no returns! This perfectly performing Bose tweeter is from a great sounding, but cosmetically rough pair of 301 Series II. The same tweeter was used in the 301 Series III, and in 601 Series II and III. The machine type screw that threads through the angled molded plastic tweeter mount into the back of the magnet is provided, so thats usually all thats possibly needed to allow mounting. If you have broken the tweeter mounts or lost them, inquire, and Ill set up a separate transaction at reasonable cost. Besides the mounting screw, I left the wires soldered to the lugs, and cut the wires to the crossover, leaving as much length as could be provided for each tweeter. This will allow several simple, secured options for connection part of the installation. The cone has a tear of about 5/16 length that I repaired with a small bead of polyvinyl acetate homopolymer glue, not very noticeable in appearance, completely unaffecting sound quality in the closed-back driver design. I also have a woofer listed from same Bose 301 Series II, which may remain available.
