Selling a pair of vintage Bose 301 Series I Direct Reflecting Speakers in their original found condition. Estate Find. The estate was filled with high quality electronics and unique collectibles. The speakers sound great but the wood cabinets are damaged on a few corners. Looks like they were damaged in shipping. The serial numbers are two numbers apart. Super rare waffle grille covers. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you will receive. I did not clean or polish but will clean up nicely, if desired. See pictures for details and condition. They are quite musical....their sound is full and rich. Used in my bedroom system. Comes from a smoke free/pet free home. Will be packaged with great care and insured for the new owners total outlay. These are a pair of Bose Direct Reflecting Speakers that are even noted as being “Left” and “Right” on the manufacturer’s plate on the back! Serial numbers 127807 & 127313. They have some dust on them as they were installed in a former pro basketball player’s home in Arizona for years. They hung from the factory eye rings since gas was a dollar a gallon I think. No humidity warping the cabinets!!!! Never fell from the ceiling ????…. The family gave them to me as they had no need for “wired” speakers. The cabinets are in great condition and the speaker screens are too ( or whatever you call them) **The only minor issue is the thin plastic trim piece on the left one that has the BOSE symbol on it. During my car ride back to Illinois it detached from its mounts. I am not going to play games and glue it or epoxy it back and lie and say it’s perfect. I’ll let you do that and it will take 20 seconds to reattach it. I play no games and don’t bull$hit on my stuff????????????????????????????????… The speaker material seem to be in the same awesome condition as well. I HAVE NOT TESTED them and don’t have anything to hook them up to. They don’t make this $hit like they used to and for audiophiles these are pretty sweet. Please see the pics and no returns!
