THE SHELF from Black Diamond Racing Signature Series 19 x 15 Purchased this BDR isolation platform as a demonstrator from an audio dealer in 1999. It was not treated carefully by the dealer. It came with three tiny chips near the corners on the front (label) side and numerous scratches, mostly thin on the front. There are more and worse ones on the rear side. They are difficult to photograph because they are hard to see (and photograph) unless the light hits them just right. I tried to show a few representative samples. However THE SHELF did its job as an isolation platform despite its cosmetic deficiencies.For years, it resided on a shelf of an audio rack with an amplifier on top of it where allyou could see was the front edge. I am giving it an cosmetic Audiogon 5, however If itwas on permanent display it might rate lower. Functionally, it hasnt changed at all asfar as I can ascertain. The original factory carton degraded with age and was discarded. The Shelf will be packed surrounded with UPS and FedEx approved Simpaks to protect during shipping.
