A rectangular metal plate supports a foam/rubber material that is glued across a metal diaphragm, it radiates a resonance, as the air contained within is distorted from the traditional drivers to the right of the speaker cabinet. This concept provides a good bass output. You will need to refoam the 2 parts and refit inside the cabinet using the screws supplied. All other parts working properly, just a little light in bass. Good speakers and case for parts if unable to repair ABRs. Minimal fret wear and slight case damage as pictured but otherwise very clean, fully tested and working perfectly.
