Pair Bang & Olufsen B&O Beovox 3000 Passive Flat Wall Mounted Speakers & Mounts. In great, fully working condition with a couple of small marks that don’t really detract from their overall look. Please see photos and feel free to ask if you require more. With original dark blue cloth speaker grilled in very good condition with just slight wear on a couple of corners. Again, hardly noticeable and do not detract from their look, especially for speakers that are over 30 years old! Sorry, photos don’t do justice to the very dark blue colour of the cloth. Comes complete with wall mounts (sorry but can’t show these or the backs of the speakers as they are still fitted to the wall). B&O Beovox C30 miniature speakers. These are an unusual model and were the smallest complete loudspeakers in the Beovox range, they are similar to the popular Beovox CX50 but not so deep. They came from a previous range which also included the Beovox C75 (which looks like a CX100) and the Beovox C40 (which looks like a CX50). The CX models replaced them because they were simpler and cheaper to make. Note that C and CX drive units are different and not interchangeable, these loudspeakers have the original and correct ones fitted. Fully tested and working, the bass units have been carefully fitted with new rubber roll edges in place of the rotten foam originals. Needless to say, they sound absolutely superb. One is almost mint but the black anodising of the other has faded and the cabinet has some scratches on one side, an odd thing as they are a matched pair (see photos). However, this isnt really visible when they are used on a well stocked bookshelf as recommended. Original DIN connectors at the back, not horrid butchered-in binding posts like so many of these have now. Cables not included. Made in Denmark. Das Beocenter befindet sich technisch in hervorragendem Zustand und wurde gerade erst von einem befreundeten B&O Spezialisten gewartet. Dabei wurden unter anderem der Riemen des Plattenspielers sowie alle Riemen und Rollen des Tapedecks erneuert.Außerdem hat die Aluminiumklappe einen neue Arretierung erhalten. Zum Plattenspieler gehört ein sehr gut erhaltenes und erstklassig klingendes MMC 3000. Alle Funktionen inkl. Aufnahme lassen sich mit der Fernbedienung steuern. Die Fernbedienung hat eine neue 9V Batterie und ist hervorragend erhalten. Das Tapedeck verfügt über Dolby Rauschunterdrückung und kann auch Metall Tapes abspielen. Es verfügt über eine elektronische Steuerung und ein digitales Zählwerk mit programmierbarer Suche. Der optische Zustand des Beocenter ist sehr gut mit nur leichten altersüblichen Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Original Fotos). An der unteren rechten Kante gibt es einen kleinen Furnierschaden, der aber nur zu sehen ist, wenn man es weiß ;-) Die Beovox S4500 sind technisch und optisch top und harmonieren vorzüglich mit dem Beocenter. Natürlich sind die originalen Lautsprecherkabel sowie eine englische Bedienungsanleitung (Nachdruck) iim Verkaufsumfang enthalten. Der Neupreis des Beocenter (ohne Boxen und Fernbedienung!) lag 1981 bei 3850,- DM. Inflationsbereinigt entspricht das einem heutigen Preis von 4650,-€ Die Anlage kommt aus einem Nichtraucherhaushalt und wurde stets sorgsam gepflegt. Es handelt sich um einen Privatverkauf ohne Rücknahme und Garantie! I am selling a recently overhauled Beocenter 7002 including Beovox S4500 speakers and remote control. The Beocenter is technically in excellent condition and has just been serviced by a B&O specialist friend of mine. Among other things, the belt of the turntable and all belts of the tape deck were renewed.In addition, the aluminum flap has received a new lock. The record player comes with a very well-preserved and first-class sounding MMC 3000. All functions, including recording, can be controlled with the remote control. The remote control has a new 9V battery and is in excellent condition. The tape deck has Dolby noise reduction and can also play metal tapes. It has electronic control and a digital counter with programmable search. The cosmetic condition of the Beocenter is very good with only slight signs of wear consistent with age (see original photos). There is a small veneer damage on the lower right edge, but this can only be seen if you know it ;-) The Beovox S4500 are technically and visually top and matching perfectly with the Beocenter. Of course, the original speaker cables and an English user manual (reprint) are included in the sale. The original price of the Beocenter (without speakers and remote control!) was 3850 DM in 1981. Adjusted for inflation, this corresponds to a current price of 4650 € The system comes from a non-smoking environment and has always been carefully maintained. On the way home wed usually stop off to gaze lovingly into the window of the Bang & Olufsen shop, dreaming of the day when we would be able to stroll on in and Buy Something. B&O was what we aspired to - the Danish high end audio equipment manufacturers products were so impossibly exotic, so very different to anything else and so unattainably expensive that it wouldnt have looked out of place aboard Discovery One singing Daisy Daisy - only it would have done so much better than HAL did, because B&O usually had the go to go with the show. The BeoVox S30 speakers pre-date my teenage years by quite a margin - in fact, when it was possible to buy them brand new I was far more interested in stuff like sweets and Bagpuss than high-end audiophile hi-fi gear, being two years old when they were produced in 1976 and not yet at school when they were discontinued two years later. Nevertheless, they were among the very best of the best back in that era, just like the stuff I gazed at so longingly nearly 20 years later - and while the rosewood cabinets and brown mesh are very, very 1970s, Jacob Jensens fairly minimalist design has stood the test of time far better than a lot of other stuff from the same period. Whats more important, of course, is how they sound - and it needs to be said at this point that some B&O stuff doesnt sound quite as good as it looks. Not so the S30s - we hooked them up to a BeoMaster 1100 amp and a BeoGram 1100 record player we just happened to have around the place (check our listings if you want em!) and gave them a bit of a test with Led Zepp 4, Joy Divisions Unknown Pleasures and a couple of Aphex Twin EPs (thus killing two birds with one stone by also play testing some of our pending Discogs uploads) and...well...the sound is just about perfect. Warm, rich, silky smooth bass, crisp mid range, razor sharp trebles, precise resolution (even with old Richard D.s murkiest basslines) and, as promised by the specs, not a trace of noticeable distortion even turned all the way up. Overall, condition is very good - there are a few light scuffs here and there as expected for hi-fi gear of this vintage, but there are no gouges or deep scratches and the mesh (though not very clean) has no tears or fraying.
