Nine station frequencies (on any combination of wavebands) could be stored in the Beomasters microcomputer memory for instant recall.The low-distortion stereo amplifier included a very advanced feature, unique to Bang & Olufsen: Automatic Power Handling Control. This special circuit continuously monitored the dynamic range and power of the signal and instructed the microcomputer to decrease volume if the combined effects of these two parameters threatened to cause amplifier clipping or damage to the speakers. This was a very fast-acting yet highly accurate control system which gave you music within about 8 seconds - far more quickly and gently than the human hand could guarantee. Auto Record level One of the less-pleasant chores in making a recording is setting level control to its optimum position. Setting it too low raises the level of background noise on the recording. Setting it too high makes the recording distorted at high music levels. With this in mind, Bang and Olufsen introduced an automatic record mode which was called Auto Record. Auto Record worked in two steps: when the record button was pressed for the first time, the cassette recorder went into a record pause mode, where the incoming signal was monitored. Under microprocessor control, the highest level was monitored and the record level was set at the optimum level for that music. On pressing the record button the second time, the tape was set in motion and the recording started, but continuing to make minor adjustments. If at any time during the recording, the level of music rose above the monitored level, the level control was lowered by exactly the amount required for the new optimum recording level. Bang Olufsen 5500 Set - Beomaster, Beocord, Beogram CD w/ master Control.

Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 6000, Beocord 6000 & Beogram 6006 See Description. Okay Ive tried to be as honest as possible with the photos Ive includes for this listing m, unfortunately I only 24 photos in which to do that. Should you wish for more photos or even videos of say the turntable spinning etc. Then Im happy to oblige. I will go through each unit below describing as honestly as possible: Beomaster 6000 This powers on A okay, there is no issues with the LED screen, a few scratches on it and the wood paneling has some chips but nothing major. The issue lays in the bars at the back has some bending on them as shown in photos. This can be bent back with some needle nose pliers. I started to do this myself but i dont have any needle nose pliers and was doing it with just a screw driver and didnt feel this was going to be the best way of doing it. So as Ive said the unit all works perfect but there is some bending on the bars behind as featured in the photos BEOCORD 6000 This all powers up and functions A okay, the screen LED works as it should. There is a tiny chip in corner which Ive shown in photos. BEOGRAM 6006 This unit powers up A okay. The needle moves to the table as it should. The turntable spons but is lightly catching at the moment. Unfortunately its missing the silver panel which you can see in the photos. This can be sourced easily if you want to purchase one. Ive tried to be as honest as possible with my description. But should you have any questions then please get in touch and Ill do my very best to answer them.
