Here we have a stunning example of the incredibly desirable Bang & Olufsen Powerhouse in the form of a BeoMaster 8000 Tuner Amplifier. Every year these become more and more collectible. They really were the pinnacle of Hi-Fi when launched in the 1980s and have always had the Wow Factor thanks to the unique design and sheer power output! Type Number : 1905 (UK Supplied) Serial Number : 2302024 Condition : One owner from brand new and was housed in a custom made cabinet. In absolutely amazing condition compared to the bashed up garbage you regularly see here on eBay. This is one for the collector. Functionality : Having been unused and in storage for many years (the original owner passed away over 15 years ago) we took this to the prestigious HEAR Audio workshops in Barcombe, Sussex for a full check up and service. No faults were found but they did suggest a few electrical caps as a matter of course - so we had them replaced as per their advice. The unit was then fully internally cleaned and lubricated as per B&O service guidelines then returned back to us. This service wasnt cheap but it gives the new owner complete peace of mind that its now ready to be used and loved! The LED display (usually dull and partially working) is factory fresh bright and totally flawless. This amplifier has had little use since new and it really does show. This is because it has sat for some time, so will likely need a looking over before any guarantee of long term functionality can be given. Very nice unit, with no major damage, other than a few knocks and scratches on the wood case. High end system, good looking retro piece.
