This is a pair of B&O Beloab 4500 speakers. They are meant to be wall mounted and STB brackets are included. These are rated at 116 watts each. If connected to B&O equipment that used MKIII cables, will display source and volume. Otherwise work quite well with newer B&O and non-B&O equipment. With older B&O equipment with amplifier built in, you can bypass the built-in amplifier entirely with an older 2 or 4 -pin B&O DIN cable. These really are quite versatile. The grills are in great shape and the plastic and aluminum parts only show light wear. Surrounds are flexible and show no deterioration. The grills are easily removed and can be recovered in the fabric of your choice to match your decor. Based on last sale price, inflation and conversion rate, these would go for about $2800 USD today. Here is some info from our friends at Beoworld: BeoLab 4500 was a wall speaker which was no more than 8cm deep. It had a built-in (active) amplifier and extended bass reproduction, which used the wall as a reflector. The display told you which source that BeoLab 4500 was reproducing at any one time. There were two versions of this panel loudspeaker. The pure Beovox 4500 loudspeaker (shown here) and BeoLab 4500 with built-in amplifier and Dynamic Bass Equaliser (shown in main picture above), which automatically compensated for the inability of the human ear to perceive deep bass tones at low volume The design of BeoLab 4500 and Beovox 4500 was based an acoustic principle that allowed the loudspeaker to use the wall to enhance the bass level. The cabinet let the sound waves reflect off the wall and out into the room without delay. This made it possible to reduce the depth of the cabinet to just 8cm, so the loudspeaker becomes a natural part of the wall décor. BeoLab 4500 had a display which indicated sound source, volume and which track on CD or tape that you were listening to. In looks, it was similar to the BeoLab 5000 active speaker, but smaller. The display too was in a green-coloured LED as opposed to BeoLab 5000s orange. Both loudspeakers were available with blue or grey fabric.The speakers are approximately 18 x 21 and weigh about 20 pounds each. I will probably ship in two boxes for safety. A single 40+ pound box just is an invitation to be dropped. A couple things to be aware of. These currently have a power cable (5-6 foot) attached to them with a squeeze lock connector. See last photos. I am also including two 12-foot power cables (last photo) should you wish to wall mount these and hide the power cables in the wall. As such, the existing power connection should be considered temporary only. It works and they are well protected, but you should decide where to mount, run power cables and permanently affix them. Note that these use polarized cables. I have marked the connectors and the cords so you will know which is the black (hot) wire. I forgot to take a picture, but I hid the cable behind a metal plate that you can just see a bit of in the next to last photo.. This helps make them more secure. There is a switch on the side of each speaker that acts as a source and power switch. It needs to be in the right position. Also, B&O equipment can be sensitive to receiving input before turning on. You should connect these to your equipment, make sure the speaker selector is in the right position and then turn on the audio source. On Apr-25-23 at 07:18:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I stand corrected.  Upon further research, the MKIII cables will not work to enable the display.  These are the thinner 2.5mm cables and do not pass thru the data line.  The correct cable is the MKII, which has Pin 6 for data, Pin 1 for auto on/off and pin 8 for overload protection.  This is the thicker 3.5mm cable and does not have the triangle on the plug hood (B&O OEM cables). Use of the improper cable may cause the speaker to not auto turn on/off or display the source and volume data.
