For Sale : My Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 17 Active WISA Wireless Loudspeakers - finished in Natural Aluminium with Black frets and Table Stand end caps. * Extremely rare on the pre-owned market * I purchased these beautiful Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 17s and used them as wireless rear speakers in my B&O Television and Surround Sound set-up in the lounge for about a year (on Floor Stands) and they were faultless. I then caved in and bought some BeoLab 18s in Oak to match my TV and front speakers, so these were returned to their box and popped into a cupboard in my spare room - where they stayed for maybe 18 months. In January this year I sold the Floor Stands and bought some end caps with the Table Stand feet on them as I decided to use them again. I took them to my local Bang & Olufsen Service Center and had them software updated to the very latest 2023 levels (Im a bit of a stickler for these things) and made the decision to use them as computer speakers sat next to my 27 Apple iMac. (Please see the pic!) After 5 months of using them I came to the conclusion that theyre too powerful and big sounding for sitting so close to, so Ive just bought some active near-field Studio Monitors (Dynaudio BM Compact Mk3 if youre interested) which are much easier on the ears when youre sitting literally about 60cm away from them. The BeoLab 17s are a powerful Hi-Fi speaker for medium to large rooms really, and not for sitting so close to. I have no use for them in any other room of the house, so its time for them to find a new owner to love and enjoy them. Condition wise Id say they were excellent with only a few tiny and barely noticeable dusting marks (pictured as best I can). I do think most people would just say Mint but Im very, very fussy. They come in an original Bang & Olufsen box, complete with a pair of Genuine Bang & Olufsen RJ to RJ Cables (5m) and a pair of UK 3-Pin Power Leads.
