This is a vintage Bang & Olufsen Beocord 2400 Tape Deck in the rosewood finish. Jacob Jensen designed this in 1969, winning awards for industrial design at the Hannover Fair as a result. As B&O separates go, these little buggers (they’re 40cm across) are borderline bombproof. The ‘piano key’ buttons are a joy, the tape deliver mechanism just feels… right (and sounds it too). Tape counter works perfectly still and the channel monitors light up and dance as they should. There’s a clever slide cover hiding the balance control and mic input. This is, quietly, a serious bit of kit. Fully tasted, working great, this comes with all connectors (and its original two-pin plug). Any questions, please ask.

This is the later version of the 2400 that came factory set up for modern IEC spec cassettes (TDK SA etc) so it gives the best performance which the types of quality cassette which are still in common use. Top quality wear-proof Sendust head. Metal tape compatible. Oversize PPM type VU meters which function on both recording and playback. Connection to Beomaster / Beocenter via a 5 pin DIN connector - not suitable for direct connection to amplifiers with RCA type connections. DIN cable not included. Made in Denmark. B&O, Bang & Olufsen, Beomaster 2400-2, Beogram CD4500, Beocord 1900, Beogram 2402 Ich verkaufe aus einer Haushaltsauflösung die Hifi-Anlage (Klassiker) mit Receiver / Tuner mit Fernbedienung, CD-Player, Kassettenrekorder, Schallplattenspielerund Boxen Beovox S50.Beim Testen der Anlage habe ich den Fehler gemacht, dass ich bei eingeschaltetem Receiver die Geräte an den Anschlüssen gewechselt habe und der Ton nun recht leise zu hören ist. Deswegen wird der Receiver als Ersatzteil / defekt deklariert.Der CD-Player, Kassettenrekorder und Boxen funktionierten einwandfrei. Den Plattenspieler konnte ich mangels Schallplatten nicht testen, der Teller dreht sich ordnungsgemäß mit beiden Geschwindigkeiten und der Arm bewegt sich.
