Das Bild ist noch ok, so in 2 Jahren sollte man aber mal die Lampe tauschen. Der BenQ W5000 ist absolut hochwertig verarbeitet und voll funktionsfähig. Fernbedienung und Netzkabel sind dabei. Versand sowie Abholung ist möglich. Hier die Keyfacts : BenQ hat dem W5000 eine nagelneue Optik spendiert, die nun vor dem Gehäuse sitzt und feinfühlig manuell justierbar ist. Projektor und Technik Überhaupt ist der W5000 eine komplette Neuentwicklung, die von Anfang an konsequent auf Full- HD getrimmt wurde. Die Aufbereitung der Bild-signale für die über 2 Millionen Mikrospiegel des bewährten DC2-DLP-Chip übernimmt nun die aktuelle Version der HQV-Technologie von Silicon Optics. Mit der Abkürzung versprechen die Entwickler „Hollywood Quality Video“, und in der Tat hat HQV dem ehemaligen Platzhirschen Faroudja DCDi in Sachen Scaling und De-Interlacing längst den Rang abgelaufen. Selbstverständlich verarbeitet der W5000 auch 24p- Signale vom Blu-ray- oder HD-DVD-Player; dank der Cinewide-Option ist er zudem endgültig selbst für anspruchsvollste Heimkino- Anwendungen gerüstet. Weiter verbessert wurde die Geräusch- entwicklung des Projektors: in der standardisierten HEIMKINO-Messung unterbietet der W5000 sogar die sowieso schon guten Werte seiner Vorgänger noch einmal. Videotechnik und Anschlüsse Dank moderner 10-bit-Videoverarbeitung gehören Quantisierungsfehler beim BenQ endgültig der Vergangenheit an. In Sachen Anschlüssen herrscht üppige Vielfalt und Flexibilität. Fünf BNC-Verbinder warten wahlweise sowohl auf RGB-Signale mit horizontaler und vertikaler Synchronisation (RGBVH) als auch auf YUV-Zuspielung, ein separater YUV-Eingang steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung, und zeitgemäße zwei HDMI-Inputs bieten Anschluss für digitale Zuspieler. Damit kann man bereits ganz hervorragend leben, verspielte Naturen finden jedoch mit der RGB-Gain-Offset-Regelung („RGB-Plus“ und „RGB-Minus“) noch die Möglichkeit, das Bild dem eigenen Geschmack anzupassen. Ein kompliziertes Farbmanagement hat man sich hier gespart, dank „BrilliantColor“ sind die Farben für einen DLP-Projektor außerordentlich sauber und nahe an ihren Zielkoordinaten. SD-Signale Die hohe Auflösung eines Full-HD-Chips stellt naturgemäß heftige Ansprüche an die Bildelektronik, wenn es um die Aufbereitung von Standard-PAL-Bildern geht. Eine Herausforderung, die der HQV-Chip im W5000 allerdings hervorragend meistert. Weder die annähernde Verdopplung der Pixelzeilen von 576 (PAL) auf 1080 (Full HD) bereitet ihm irgendwelche sichtbaren Schwierigkeiten noch das De-Interlacing von im Halbbildverfahren zugespielten Signalen, etwa von der Sat-Settopbox. Man muss schon sehr genau hinsehen, um bei kritischen Szenen eine leichte Unruhe in feinen Strukturen zu bemerken, doch das können selbst erheblich teurere Projektoren selten besser. Eine weitere willkommene Neuerung: Der Overscan lässt sich regeln, so dass bei jedem Zuspieler immer das volle Bild auf der Leinwand sichtbar ist. Den Beweis für die gelungene Teamarbeit von BenQ und HQV tritt die Disney-DVD „Triff die Robinsons“ an. Das computeranimierte Spektakel leuchtet voller brillanter Farbkontraste und berauscht mit seinem Detailreichtum, das jede digitale Masche an Lewis‘ blauem Strickpullover erkennbar macht.
