The Bellari VP130 is a hybrid tube phono pre-amplifier and headphone amplifier with upgrades. This is class B rated at Stereophile, no easy feat for something not costing in the thousands of dollars. It is designed to enhance the sound quality of vinyl records and provide a warm, rich sound. The tube amplifier technology adds a vintage touch to the audio output. The upgrades include a much-improved power supply virtually eliminating the risk of hum. The feet were upgraded with solid aluminum feet with rubber inserts for better insulation. The casing is now damped internally to eliminate vibrations. Lastly the tube is now a Genalex Gold Lion, one of the best current production 12AX7 tubes. I have recently upgraded to a much more expensive tube phono preamp and thus with a heavy heart make this available to the next enthusiast.
