Kenwood Basic M1A Stereo Power Amplifier. Unit powers on but power indicator light is keep blinking.

I have a vintage (late 80s/early 90s I think), Kenwood Basic M1A power amplifier. The amplifier powers on, but does not come out of bootup/test mode. When it worked, the red light would blink for a few seconds while it checked proper speaker connections and the like, and then come on steady with a relay click. Now it stays in that bootup/protection mode. I do not suspect it would be too difficult to have this repaired, more than likely the power amplifier components are still good. It was a GREAT amp when it worked. Just old enough to still be made in Japan, just new enough that it avoids other issues. The speaker terminals may also need some TLC (as seen in the picture) but should be easy while having it repaired otherwise. This amp dishes out 100 w/channel (RMS, true power) and can support A/B pairs of speakers. Truly a great amp, worth it to have it repaired. I replaced two capacitors that were visually bad (photo attached) but those were not the issue. That was as far as I got - now its youre turn to have a great raw power amp!
