I have for sale a Bang & Olufsen 5500 Master Control Panel. Shows minor signs of wear but overall it’s in very good condition. Please inspect photos carefully as they form part of the description. Tested to work well although not every function was tested. **USA buyers, please read: Please note that I have a no return policy but in the event of a discrepancy and a return is necessary, you will need to get a shipping estimate from USPS and send me a screenshot of the details and amount. I will then send you the postage via PayPal. The reason for this is that I cannot generate a USA return label from Canada Post. Das Master Control Panel 5500 ersetzte das Master Control Panel 5000. Der Grund für den Wechsel war die Einführung des Beomaster 5500, eines neuen Modells, das wie das MCP ein ähnliches Konzept und ein ähnliches Aussehen hatte, sich aber im Detail stark unterschied.Das Master Control Panel 5500 unterschied sich in einer Reihe von wichtigen Punkten. Erstens verwendete es einen neuartigen Infrarotcode, der dem vom AV-Terminal und dem Beolink 1000 gesendeten Code ähnlich war. Dies war notwendig, da B&O die gesamte Produktpalette auf einen einzigen Fernbedienungsstandard umstellte - ein überfälliger Schritt, der die Integration von Audio- und Videogeräten erheblich vereinfachte. Dies bedeutete jedoch nicht, dass das Master Control Panel 5500 jedes Gerät bedienen konnte, das das Beolink 1000-Terminal nutzte, denn es benötigte immer noch ein vom Hauptsystem zurückgesendetes Signal, um zu funktionieren. Der Grund für diese Änderung war, dass der Beomaster auch mit anderen Terminals verwendet werden konnte.Die zweite Änderung bestand darin, dass die Möglichkeiten zur Steuerung des Audiosystems erheblich erweitert wurden. Vor allem die Tapedecks profitierten von den verbesserten Möglichkeiten des Master Control Panels 5500: Dolby-Modus, Auto-Reverse-Status und -Richtung sowie Aufnahmepegel konnten eingesehen und eingestellt werden. Besonders interessant war die Funktion des Aufnahmepegels, denn neben der Möglichkeit, zwischen automatischem und manuellem Betrieb zu wählen, konnte die Pegeleinstellung geändert und das resultierende Signal auf einer kleinen Anzeige, ähnlich der des Banddecks selbst, angezeigt werden.
