Bang & Olufsen Beovox CX50 Hi Fi speakers in need of some TLC. All the drivers work but the foams have rotted away over time, a common issue on these speakers. New foam surrounds can be bought for circa £20, with some time spent these will last for years to come. The cabinets have lots of marks and scratches, they might polish back, all the corners are square and damage free. The grills are in excellent condition, a nice project opportunity and worth around £150 when done. Please see the images as they form part of the description. Beovox CX50 and Beovox CX100 loudspeakers were the smallest loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen up to the time that the manufacture of passive speakers ceased in 2002. They were mostly used to place within a passive Beolink® system (MCL), although they could also be used as main speakers. Thanks to different colour combinations they blended well into most people's décor. Bang and Olufsen BeoVox 50 speakers (pair). Lovely condition and working as they should. See my other listings for matching Beogram CD3500 and BeoMaster 3500 deck. All items work well. The speakers have suffered the inevitable rot over the years but have been reconditioned as can be seen from the photos. I cannot detect any deterioration in sound quality. For obvious reasons sale is UK only and personal collection.

A Pair Of Genuine Bang & Olufsen Speaker Cables 8 Meters. A pair of original B&O speaker cables that have one end of each cable detached and will need splicing back to the cable. These genuine speaker cables have been fully tested and work perfectly when joined back together. I have cleaned them but they could probably do with a better clean. Bang & Olufsen Beovox CX50 White. These were professionally refoamed about 5 years ago. This was done with rubber rather than foam so they shouldn’t need doing again. I have played them for a few hours since then so they should be nicely played in. They sound really good. A couple of scratches have been touched up (rather amateurishly) on the top side of one of the speakers but all in all they are very nice condition. I dont have a remote for this, but it is not necessary to operate the system. Please note that these are 30 years old so there may be some slight imperfections or marks, although the only one Ive seen (in photo close up) is only visible when youre very close and looking down the top of the Beomaster. These are heavy items and delicate so collection in person is preferred and you can see and test them before you take them away. For sale we have one pair of CX50 passive stereo speakers finished in brushed aluminium anodised and pristine acoustic cloth If you know what these speakers are capable of there's no need for me to sing their virtues. If you are new to them, then prepare to be impressed.  CX50 speakers finished in white.  Aesthetic 95%. Cabinets have very good integrity and aesthetically look well for 30+ years old. Overall the buyer will be very happy. Acoustic 100% tested and working nicely Functionality 100% These have been refurbished starting with a professional re-foam, new gaskets and finished with good quality bright fixings front and back.  They are good to go for years to come.  The cabinets as you will see, are in excellent structural condition being made of aluminium, and reflect the good care of a careful previous owner. Please look at the re-foam pics in this andor my other CX speaker ads. I pride myself on care and attention to detail. Unlike others you may see these have been done with patience and expertise and will have been run in and tested.  Note the glue is where it is supposed to be i.e. under the new foam and not smeared across the cone. In addition the foam is set central and perfectly circular maintaining the acoustic and aesthetic qualities B&O created them with.  These can be posted or picked up if you want to save costs and reduce risk or courier damage (I do package these units very well and as yet have no issues).
