Owned by me from new. No corrosion in battery compartment. Powers up - light in. The motor is rotating, does not drive cassette as the belt will require replacing which can be bought on eBay. However, assume not working. Walkman is a very solid build - like 1990’s Porsche. Non smoking/no pets household. No battery included.
