I got these speakers in a estate sale both speakers are in perfect working condition and sound amazing the person that I got the Speakers from told me that the cabinets were refurbish because they were some scratches around the cabinets. Also, he told me that one of the plastic clip on one of the tweeters that hold the Tweeter attached to the top of the speaker cabinet was broken but the Tweeter was reattach with a heavy duty, two-sided tape, other than that the speakers are great. Legendary Bowers & Wilkins Matrix 801 Series 2 in nice shape. They have been well taken care of and are all original. All components work as they should, and they sound wonderful!They have sequential serial numbers and you can tell as the wood grain and color is very similar on both cabinets.There are a few scratches about 1 inch on both speakers on the back corners and one 1inch tear on upper cloth and a ¼ hole on the other upper cloth (pictured). Otherwise,the finish is nice, uniform, and shiny and all drivers have no damages or deformities.Here is your chance to own a pair of these highly acclaimed speakers which were used in many famous recording studios and led to the world renown B&W 801 Nautilus and Diamond series.
