Available for your consideration is a very lightly used pair of B&W CCM 683s. These were only installed for about a month until we upgraded to from 803s to 802s and CCM 682s respectively. These speakers are some of the best in-ceiling speakers money can buy. These speakers sound absolutely outstanding! The only reason we switched them for CCM 682s was to keep all of our speakers from the same series. - An in-ceiling speaker with 200mm Aramid mid/bass amd 25mm aluminum-dome tweeter means big, precise sound. Current retail price: $600 each. Please note: THESE ARE CCM 683. The boxes are for CCM 682 which replaced these. The speakers you will receive are CCM 683 and NOT CCM 682. Up for auction is a pair of used Bowers and Wilkins (B&W) CCM 683 in-ceiling speakers. Sound great. All drivers work- one speaker always works fine, the other speaker usually works fine through the speaker inputs but, occasionally, when tested, the tweeter cuts out but always works when connected directly, bypassing the crossover- just want to be upfront about it. I was going to use these as rear surrounds in my basement 7.1 system but never got around to it. Grilles are in good cosmetic condition but the mounting frames have paint overspray.
