Refurbished B&W speakers from the Mid-90s, with new ferrofluid in the tweeters, and upgraded crossover capacitors. I dont have the grilles for them. The CDM1 (Compact Domestic Monitor) was introduced in 1995, priced at £600 a pair and was voted Loudspeaker of the year by European journalists, given a 5 star review by What Hifi? magazine, and made it into What Hifis more recent 17 best B&W products of all time list (viewable online). With age B&W tweeters from this period suffer from dried out ferrofluid which dulls their output. I have refurbished the original tweeters, removing the old dried out fluid, and have replaced it with fresh fluid. I have also upgraded the capacitors in the crossover from electrolytic to polypropylene film types. This lets through so much more detail and they now sound super crisp. They sound balanced and detailed, like plenty of power and love to go loud. The cabinets are in very good condition, with a few minor imperfection that have been touched up. They are very good overall. Specifications: two-way, reflex-loaded, stand-mounted loudspeaker. Drive-units: 0.75 inch (18mm) metal-dome tweeter, 6.5 inch (165mm) Kevlar-cone woofer. Crossover frequency: 3kHz. Frequency response: 64Hz-20kHz ±2dB. Sensitivity: 88dB/W/m (2.83V). Nominal impedance: 8 ohms. Amplifier requirements: 30W minimum. Hallo, ich verkaufe hier wegen Neuanschaffung ein paar sehr gut erhaltene Lautsprecher ,der Firma B&W.Es handelt sich um das Modell CDM1.Die Ständer sind keine Orginal Ständer,passen aber sehr gut zu den Lautsprechern.Da die Lautsprecher durch Spitzen entkoppelt werden und auf einer Holzplatte stehen,habe ich Plättchen unterlegt.Leider habe ich nur noch 4 Stück!Es wäre ratsam sich noch 4 Stück zu besorgen,oder die Boxen ohne Plättchen hinzustellen.Die Kabel können in einem integrierten Rohr verlegt werden,sind also kaum sichtbar.Wie gut die Lausprecher sind ,kann man in veröffentlichten Tests nach lesen.B&W sind nicht umsonst eine der besten Firmen auf diesem Gebiet. Da es sich um eine Privat Auktion handelt,ist eine Garantie,Rücknahme,sowie Gewährleistung jeglicher Art ausgeschlossen. Ich biete ein Paar Lautsprecher des Herstellers Bowers & Wilkins an. Es handelt sich um die legendäre CDM 1 in der Special Edition CDM 1 SE in Esche – schwarz. Gekauft wurden die Boxen im Jahr 1999 von mir und waren ausschließlich in meinem Besitz in einem tierfreien Nichtraucher-Haushalt. Die Lautsprecher waren mit Wandhaltern der Firma Vogel´s an der Wand befestigt, diese werden ebenfalls beigefügt. Dem Alter entsprechend befinden sich die Boxen in einem guten, gebrauchtem Zustand mit nur minimalen Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos). Technische Daten siehe Foto. Ich verkaufe als Privatperson ohne Gewährleistung und Rücknahme. Als Alternative zum Versand ist auch eine Abholung vor Ort möglich (Das Paket hat ca 20 Kg).

This unit is used in all B&W P4, P5, P6, CDM1 and Emphasis speakers. The woofer is fully working and sounds brilliant. It’s in a pristine cosmetic condition with minimum signs of use. The rubber is soft and responsible with no any signs of dryness. Please ask if you want to see anything in details. I will try to make more close-up photos upon request.
