New illumination.The 2 prong power connector was replaced with the standard IEC 3 prong connector so that you can use any standard IEC power cord that you want.Please Note that this is a later production unit with the best Philips die-cast zinc CDM-1 Deck. Something that definitely is not made anymore today....The drawer contains the whole mechanism in it. It is not a plastic tray which takes the disc, but the whole metal mechanism of Philips CDM-1 comes out of the player. There are no belts so it will last much longer than the other belt based transports.The B225 is virtually indestructible. It was the first Revox CD player and is arguably the Most Robust and Durable.Worldwide selectable voltage. Its currently set to 120V.Please examine all photos to assess excellent condition.
