Welcome to my listing for my superb sounding Japanese-made Denon DCD-825 CD player. This high end player is a fantastic sounding unit, very dynamic and expansive, with a deep soundstage and impressive detail. The finely etched and refined sound quality from this player means it is at home in even high end systems. This was a brilliant era for legendary and amazing sounding Denon CD players. On board are a pair of legendary Burr Brown PCM61P DACs, which are very renowned audio chips, which is why this player punches well above its weight in refinement. The transport on deck is Sonys very stable KSS-240A, which is commonly found in a number of high CD players. This CD player is solid as a rock and all functions work perfectly. It reads and navigates discs quickly and very quietly and the drawer is as smooth and strong in its operation. This is truly stunning sounding CD player. As you can see from the pictures, the CD player is in excellent condition throughout, as is the original remote that it ships with. There are a few light marks on the top panel but nothing major.
