Up for sale is this amazing Ayre Acoustics KX- 5 Twenty. I owned several remarkable preamps over the years like the Rogue RH-5, Rogue RP-7, Rogue RP-9, Parasound JC2BP and they sounded great in their applications. However, this is hands-down, the finest control amp I have ever used. I am going to streamline my system with an integrated so it is time to move this along. I am the 2nd owner and if there are any marks or scratches I didn’t find them. The pictures represent the condition of this preamp well. I can’t tell you the age of the preamp but I am sure Ayre can help with that. There are numerous on-line reviews extolling the incredible sound of this unit and it mates perfectly with the VX-5 Twenty power amplifier I also have listed here.
