This cassette is a dry type non-abrasive head cleaner. Due to normal wear, the heads of your cassette will get dirty and this affects sound quality. Just play this cassette for one minute and most of the dust and dirt will be gone. Recommend to use every 40-50 hours of reproduction. Sono stati custoditi da un unico proprietario dopo averli entrambi acquistati dal negoziante hifi, custoditi in uno Studio domestico e usati veramente pochissimo. Fatti controllare entrambi dal mio tecnico di fiducia, con pulizia totale dei potenziometri, selettori e commutatori. Quindi perfettamente funzionanti per ognuna delle proprie funzioni. Il deck, necessitava della fisiologica sostituzione delle cinghie e sono state sostituite. Ora è perfetta. 1. Ampli/integrato SB-66: interessantissimo integrato prodotto dalla Toshiba tra il 1980 e 1983. Potenza erogata in 8 ohm, tra i 60 e 70 per canale. Dimensioni 420 x 151 x 399 con un peso di 9,5 kg. Progetto innovativo per gli anni 80, grazie all’opportunità di collegamento dedicato e predisposto per il Clean Drive Sensor. Dispositivo atto al passaggio diretto del segnale direttamente dalla sorgente ai diffusori, senza filtrare o passare dalle elettroniche dell’amplificatore. Quindi un segnale puro dalla sorgente ai diffusori. Allego le foto delle brochure originali dell’epoca e descrizione caratteristiche tecniche. 2. Aurex by Toshiba PC-D10 Stereo Cassette Deck. Owned since new, this Aurex PC-D10 was a high grade of Hi-Fi seperates manufactured by Toshiba.In good clean condition, the casing has some marks and oxidation commesurate with age as pictured.This is a well built unit with a high grade aluminium casing, finished in silver. The unit weighs 3.285 kg The cassette deck is supplied with the original box, complete with the original styrofoam inserts as well.The cassette mechanism cover is also included. It is sold for parts or not working, - as the cassette mechanism is not working.The unit will turn on, the motor spins, the tape backlight operates and the Dolby NR light operates, but I am unable to test further. The tape belts are likely to have degraded completely due to age. The playback key does not return to its normal position when depressed. When it was working, the main features of the Aurex PC-D10 were: 2 heads, analog 3 digit mechanical tape counter, manual tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes with additional manual equalization selection, and a single-capstan belt driven transport. Level meters used on the PC-D10 were generic digital peak reading meters. The tape transport controls are mechanical. Cue and review could be used to easily and quickly locate the beginning of a passage. The Dolby-B system when engaged, would reduce tape hiss on tapes recorded on the PC-D10 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. The unit has individual tape input level controls. For undisturbed listening, a jack connector socket for a pair of stereo headphones is located on the front facia. Connection to other audio components for playback can be achieved by RCA Phono cables, and recording from a source also by RCA Phono cables.
