Here are two (2) sets of excellent AudioQuest (AudioTruth) Quartz x3 Hyperlitz 0.5+ meter (21 tip to tip) Interconnect RCA cables made in the USA. From the original AudioQuest brochure: AudioQuest Quartz uses Hyperlitz balanced construction with the remarkable 99.99997% pure FPC-6 copper. The exceptional AudioQuest #809 RCA plug is resistance welded to Quartz in a process which actually commingles the molecules of the cable and plug into an alloy - essentially a perfect connection, a difference one can actually hear. The #809 plug uses an unusual patented design which eliminates extra internal contacts, ensures a large, self-wiping (cleaning) contact area and provides extraordinary strain-relief. The #809 plug is not difficult to push on, but it does make the best contact. The Quartz x3 audio interconnects contain the following components: 22 awg Solid FPC-6 Copper Conductors, 22 awg Silver Plated Solid LGC Copper Drainwire, Foam Polyethylene Insulation, Foil Shield, PP Filter, and PVC Jacket. These particular cables started out as a single set of 1.0 meter length cables and were sent to AudioQuests San Clemente CA facility to be custom prepared at the factory as 2 sets of 0.5 meter cables. The extra #809 RCA plugs added resulted in a final 21 length (0.5+ meters). The less length a signal has to travel, the better. So, these interconnects are ideal for connecting separate components that are relatively close with no wasted performance or expense from extra long cables. And of course, the RCA plugs have the correct one band and two bands markings for the proper signal direction.
